Current volunteer vacancies include:
Photographer
Havelock Community Centre is looking for a volunteer photographer to help us update our promotional images and showcase our facilities to the local community.
We need a volunteer with their own photography equipment who can capture high-quality images of our centre, including:
4 activity rooms 1 kitchen Garden area Front and rear exterior views of the building
A wide-angle lens will be required to effectively photograph indoor spaces.
The photographs will be used across our website, social media, marketing materials, and venue hire promotions.
Health and Safety Videographer Volunteer
Havelock Community Centre is looking for a volunteer videographer to help build our YouTube channel and create a series of informative health and safety videos for centre users.
These videos will support both regular groups and private hirers by providing clear guidance on the safe use of the building. Topics may include:
Fire safety procedures Emergency exits Slip, trip and hazard awareness Cleaning expectations General building usage guidance Responsibilities of hirers during their booking
The volunteer will work with the Centre Manager to plan and storyboard the videos before filming. Most content is expected to be faceless, focusing on the building, facilities, signage, and demonstrations rather than on-camera presenters.
The completed videos will help ensure visitors understand how to use the centre safely and responsibly while reducing the need for repeated in-person briefings.
